We went to Bates College the other day to do just that, and came away with some really great pictures. If you were here this morning, welcome back To everyone who is just finding me tonight, be sure to check out the first 2 posts. I’d like to continue my posts of Avery’s newborn pictures with a collection of Avery in various props.

First, to the newcomers who may not know, my son had some complications and spent the first 8 days of his life in the NICU in Portland. Let me just say that by the time we got him home, he did not like sleep at all. He sure was a challenge to get these photo’s, but in the end it was all worth it and yes, he’s happy and healthy now

I’d also like to add that of all the types of photography I’ve done, I enjoy newborns the most. There’s just something extra special about them. They are more work, but to me, they reap more reward at the same time. If you or someone you know are expecting soon, think of me for newborn photography

So I’d like to start the first round of Avery’s photo’s with the “Mommy and Me” shots we did. I really like this type of photo, and think every new mom should have something like this done. Nothing compares to the bond between a mother and her baby, and we all know they are only so little for such a short time. What better way to remember these precious times forever

Welcome to my blog

Hi, and welcome to my blog. This is my first ever blog post, so I’m still new to this. We’ll probably have some growing pains, but I anticipate it to be a lot of fun none-the-less. I hope that we all get to know each other very well by interacting here instead of Facebook, or other social media avenues. I’m still new at some of the other social media stuff as well. If anyone wants to help me get the most of Google+, or Twitter, I’d greatly appreciate it

You’ll see that there is a review tab on top. If I’ve done photos for you and you’ve had a good experience, I would love to hear about it. Write me a short message, and I’ll post it there with a pic from your session
